Crisp Film

I just got this ingredient called crisp film, seems very promising to develop new dishes except, there is nothing out there about how to use it, or mix it or cook it, etc. does anyone has knowledge of it?

I believe it's a modified starch product, used for batter coated foods to help them stay crisper and also stick to the food better. If I recall correctly, you can use it to replace around 10% of the flour in a batter mix.
