Here we go, as planned all week long, my 5 course meal for two from yesterday:
MC Ham Consommee with Melon Caviar
Cauliflower Panna Cotta with Caviar (China Imperial)
Bone Marrow (Adapted from Humm's I Love NY)
Pastrami Bites 24h 70° with Japanese Potatos and wild mushrooms
Pumpkin Gelato with Pumpkin Oil and caramelized Pumpkin seeds
In case you wondered what wine would go rather well with the pastrami bites, I can highly recommend 2005 Cheval Blanc ;-) ... just kidding, my wife was given this bottle a couple of years ago and we decided to open it yesterday. Not our usual nectar - mainly due to price - but is was amazing to once try one of those ridiculously expensive wines... it was awesome ;-)
