Thanksgiving: Which part of the turkey is this?

Alex just discovered this mysterious, unidentified part amongst the giblets of our turkey. We are intrigued & slightly disgusted.

Nope, not turkey parts. The first one is probably what my liver looks like and the second one is all thats left of my atrophied brain after 40 years of red wine consumption ....

i would say that is what the stomach is. much like that of a chicken. the first one is the outside and the 2nd is what it looks on the inside. you may be able to peal off a layer from the inside (the lining of the stomach)
