Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've participated in the forum but I wanted to throw a quick shout out to the Chefsteps team and say you guys have been hitting it out of the park! I love the new sous vide classes and I FINALLY convinced my father-in-law to pick up a circulator!
Anyways, I've been making the Chefsteps buttermilk biscuits for a few months and I've been running into the same issue over and over; my biscuits spread out on the sheet instead of rising vertically. I separate them by the designated distance and they just smoosh together into a mass that easily separates into individual biscuits. I've frozen leftover biscuits and I don't see it as much in the frozen biscuits.
The only thing that I can think of is my oven isn't at the right temperature. I'm in an apartment and my oven is pretty shoddy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
