Activa RM replacement in Europe

As far as I know Activa RM is banned here in Europe.
1. Can anyone confirm that it is indeed banned?
2. If that's the case, does anyone know of a suitable replacement and where I can find that replacement?

No it's not banned, and at least in Germany it is used, but since it's classified as a technical processing aid it doesn't need to be declared. That said, it is kinda hard to get as a private customer. According to a big onlineshop i asked, they are not allowed to sell it to private customers. I have found it in the uk, though, which might be easier than ordering from modernist pantry.

1. It is not banned in The Netherlands.
2. In The Netherlands, they often sell it as Activa EB (equivalent of RM). You can buy a 1kg package here:
