Cabbage rolls

Cabbage rolls filled with jasmine rice, mushroom soy, shallot, scallion, Chinese sausage, and a lot of Black pepper. Sauce is a 50/50 blend of hot gochujang and red miso garnished with kimchi furikake. A huge umami bomb of a dish.

Thanks. It was pretty tasty. I need to refine the filling a bit more. Maybe grinding the rice like in blood sausage.

I'd eat the shit out of that. Maybe its just my phone, but how is the roll so caramelised? Did you wrap it in caul fat? It could be the cabbage but it wouldn't be green like that on the ends... My thought anyway, hah.

The exterior is neat looking. Did you just make a traditional cabbage roll and plop it in the deep fryer?

Hit it with the searzall before plating. It's brushed with some sauce too.
