My first attempt at macarons

Beginner's luck maybe, but these were fantastic. I used a tiny bit of orange extract in the cookie and Cointreau in the ganache. I can't wait to try it again.

I messed up the meringue on our first attempt so our batter was too thin. Guess we'll just have to try again... what a shame..
