Looking for a job

recent culinary school grad, with 10 years of military service as an officer. very passionate about making good food. 1 year kitchen experience. Looking to move into the fine dinning scene in Seattle. Any leads would be greatly Appreciated. I just need minimum wage and talented chef that I can learn from.

My advice is look for the best restaurants in your area, read their menus until you find something you like, then call the place to ask if you can come in for a stage (volunteer shift). Best way to land a job and you'll already know if you want to work there or not.

Worst case scenario is you'll learn something.

You have freshly come out of a career and are quite experience, which makes you much more demanded over any restaurant you go. I would suggest you to just go for the classified which are posted every day, and find out the best job which would be suited for you. Also, I would suggest you to open a channel on YouTube and be much more active of social media; it would be able to build up your popularity and would be able to give you a recognition, which will help your resume to stand out from the others. It would be pretty hard to job and I wasn’t happen to find any before I have acquire my Cisco Certification, in here at SPOTO, after that just one update to my resume, helped me out in achieving my desired job and I have a good job with nice salary package. So, here I am to fulfill my other desire, to be a good cook.
