Sweety brought friends home for supper after an event, but we had no food ready. So, carbonara. Lucky I had La Quercia's excellent pancetta in the fridge. Too bad I'd run out of bucatini, my preferred carbonara noodle.

We have very similar tastes in pasta...except maybe the medium shells. My staples are gemelli, bucatini, cavatappi, and strozzapreti.

the medium shells are exclusively for tuna noodle casserole, my all time very favorite meal. I regret nothing
