Hello Chefsteps,

Everything with my macs seemed to work perfectly until i removed them from the oven, what do you think went wrong?

My first few tests had the nice smooth egg shell like crust, but with some moist soft spots on top, theni tried baking them longer to fully bake the top and this happened.

This is usually because of overmixing the batter.

They look a bit like the syrup was undercooked, which is the same problem as too much moisture. Or too many in the oven at once will do the same.
