Microgreens 2
tshewman
For the first attempt, I am pleased with the result. Especially in flavor and color. I need to work on my sowing skills (among other things), but over-all a good start.

My apologies for the redundancy as it was included with the WFD post yesterday. However, If I recall, those who "subscribe" may want updates (?). The final result has been excellent and now I have allot of microgreens I need to use :-). So yesterday, I made a salad meringue using cucmber, carrots, romaine lettuce and asparagus juice (good workout for the champion juicer). Made a meringue from it and cooked it in small single serving flower pots, topped it with a modified gribiche (no cream-I used the CS onion puree which worked nicely) and dehydrated olives (thank you heston). and then "replanted" some of the microgreens to serve. I have to admit, I was suprised at how well this went over. Lots of nervousness when the guests looked at it, but before I was finished cleaning the chocolate off the wall, ceiling counter, appliances and floor (oh ya, had a bit of a chocolate explosion), they had completely finished the salad. :-)
