This morning, I had some "
pot liquor" left over from turnip greens sitting on the stove. For the hell of it, I added some chicken jus, reduced it down and thickened it. I looked at it for awhile and figured I'd whipped up a bowl of soft polenta and see where that went. Next thing I knew, I was making some of those creamy soft boiled eggs. All of a sudden, I realized I had breakfast! This was really good.
