Did you make it sous vide? Around here local asparagus is just starting to show up. Still kinda expensive...

No I just steamed it, Asparagus does not need much temperature if fresh in season, the season is just on so the kg is at € 24.-, for the famous "Schrobbenhauser Spargel". It is expensive in deed, but as every year I can’t resist seeing it in the farmers market, if you wait another two - three weeks towards the end, the price will drop significantly (50%) but then the fibers can be hard to handle and needs more temperature or you cut off 1/3 from the root side and use the cuts for a sauce.
