I have never eat a original donut. I'm living in Turkey and we've got dud donuts. I need a donut recipe. Anyone can give me a nice donut recipe?

I want to make in home. But I need "real" donut recipe from real donut lovers

You're in luck Cenk, ChefSteps actually did some R&D on doughnuts some time ago with a view to showing the community how they work through recipe development, but it appears it was never quite finished. Nonetheless, copies of it are still around; see the link below. The process Nicholas works through makes for a very interesting read too.

I've used their v11 recipe, substituting butter for palm oil & got a really nice doughnut, but watch your proofing time. I let a batch proof too long & they blew up way too large.
