Alternative to Amylase

In Europe it is pretty hard to get pure amylase,so I was wondering if there is a substitue that might be easier to get. Thank you!

hmmm.....Amylase is found in our saliva (year one phys for the geeks out there), but short of spitting into the mix :-)....diastatic malt powder shoudl be a good substitute by historical posts. See
