Where did you guys pick up your Binchotan for your Buffalo Chicken skin recipe? I've been looking in the Portland and Seattle area without too much luck, and online sources are ridiculously overpriced.

Also, those little double tined bamboo skewers are awesome, where'd you get those?

Have you tried Uwajimaya? Unfortunately, it's a premium product and is going to cost quite a bit more.

Korin has the real deal but also some more affordable varieties that are still much better than average charcoal.

This is the exact one we use. Seems expensive but it will last forever and works incredibly well. Stay cool on the outside for many hours while the inside is almost white hot. They make smaller ones as well that are around 100$. Waji does have them as well, thet also sell a cast iron one that is great but obviously not as efficient.
