Reading through experiences of others, i tried passion fruit and water previously as the thoughts were that the flavor would be great.....it was k. This time (in a hurry, just home), I went with pure passion fruit juice/puree and choclate to make the gelato. Perhaps the nicest gelato I have made. The acidity of the passionfruit goes so well with chocolate. Yes, thank you Heston and Chris! It's an expensive gelato, but worth it IMHO. Served with a microwaved almond cake and raspberry druplets (ran out to get my dewar filled :-)..).
