gelatin Example:Say you need 5 grams of 160 bloom and you only have powdered gelatin at 220 bloom, how much less of the powdered gelatin should you use?5 g (160 bloom) * Sqrt (160/220) = 5 g (160 bloom) * Sqrt (0.727) = 5 * 0.853 = 4.26 grams of 220 bloom gelatin.
