Where did you get dry ice? I'm looking for a supplier here in Los Angeles.

Actually it was quite easy to find, a quick Yelp search did the trick.

I found it at a local cash and carry.

For the people living in San Francisco, that is 170 S Van Ness Ave, San Francisco, CA 94103.

They sold it in 10 pound blocks. A good excuse to make a lot of ice cream!
