Kimchi recipe !!

Hi chefsteps's family, i'm huge fan of corean food so off course KIMCHI .But i don't have nice and tasty cabbage kimchi recipe ! If someone can help that's gonna be great . Thanks

in the condo i live there is a dry steam cleaner owned by a korean couple. i made some of chang's kimchi and gave it to them. they returned the favor by giving me their family recipe kimchi. i asked them what they thought of my kimchi and they said it was too salty. i thought their kimchi was too mild. they said that there are regional variations to kimchi. some parts of korea like a more salty kimchi, like that of chang's, but other areas like a milder one. i did not know about this regional variation until i talked to hem.
