what i can use except ultrasperse?

Hey guys,

i have some serious question?

i been working in australia for few years and we used

a lot of ultrasperse as a gelling agent (which was really easy and nice result)

now iam back in europe (and i have big problem to buy it)

what i can use? (what is with same result but simle)

or what are u recommending?

or is some oher way how to buy it here in middle of europe?

How did you use it? Gellinging (as in fluid gel) or as more of a thickener. My understanding is it is a Tapioca product (modified starch) that is used for thickening etc. Modernist pantry et al sells it (if you need the link let me know), but if it's tapioca based thickener I ssuspect you may be able to procure it locally.

If you provide the applications, perhaps some of the EU forum members can also provide their local sources (Modernist pantry does ship to EU I believe).

i already try to order some frome modernist pantry but nothing....

its actually thickener but u can get nice gelly clear texture,

(like we made caramel gel, and i was perfectly clear and shiny)

do you have some rocommendation for other product?
