Black garlic
Koen_33504
Can anyone tell me if there is a shortcut to black garlic?
Normally it takes 30 to 40 days on 60 degrees Celsius to transform the garlic .
thank you

Do it! I've done regular fashioned black garlic at home and it's pretty rudimentary, and totally rewarding for the time it takes.

You need to let us know how it turns out

Haven't tried this product but had been thinking about it, from Hong Kong for USD$100 This takes 12 days but have no idea how well it really works

I've been thinking about this a bit lately, and I'm eager to try pressure cooking for four to eight hours. I think it will create sonething like black garlic in a fraction of the time.

Maybe add some sort of culture and sugar to the garlic.

Unless you're going to buy it somewhere, no. Black garlic is a process totally unique, that, thus far, has only been achieved by the several week aging process. If you can find it for sale, that's about the closest thing you got. Good luck

Trader Joes sells it sometimes. :-)
