Just back from Seattle where I had the absolute pleasure of meeting a number of people from Chefsteps and, see them at work. It was truly a pleasure to visit and speak with so many. First if you are wondering why some can't get to many of our questions sometimes, well, that would require the time to actually sit at a PC. It was non-stop prepare, test, shoot/video go....go....go. It's not that they don't want to. They simply don't/can't have the bandwidth. They were gracious and took the time to say hello, give me a tour and see some of the daily operations (organized chaos :-)....). I was fortunate to briefly speak with so many that I had only seen on video and read here on the forum and, for that I am grateful. Suffice to say, they were busy trying to make things even better and have many irons in the fire. Now I see why it really is up to us on the forum to help them. Without them, there's no us and visa versa. Now as for why I blame them for dinner......well as you all might know, they are right under Pike's Place Market, so I went upstairs and bought a bunch of King Crab and a whole cod and brought it back on the plane and had the crab for dinner......Some spoiled kids. :-) Thank you to everyone at Chefsteps and a big shout out to Ellen, Lorraine and Tim for everything.
