I am cooking Turkey parts Sous Vide and the recipe I am following calls for a quick fry to crisp the skin. Before the fry, the parts are dusted in various spices, maple sugar and apple powder. I have been to a few of the specialty grocery stores and health food stores in the area and no one has it.
What is Apple Powder?
Where can I find it?
What can I substitute it with?
