You might want to add something to help the batter brown a bit faster, you'll get a better color. Next time, I am going to take the chicken out of the fryer once the batter is set and spray it with some thinned maple syrup then stick it back in the fryer to get a darker color. All things being equal, you could go after some of Chic Filet's business with this sandwich.
