Ice cream Sugar

Hey you know for the breakdown percentages for Ice cream?

The percentage is 13-16% for premium ice cream sugar content. Does anyone know if that percentage is also including lactose from the milk?

In ice cream formulation, the lactose in milk would fall into the non fat milk solids (MSNF) percentage which is about 9-13% in commercial recipes. The sugar content of the formula would only include the sucrose, dextrose etc

Thanks! I literally just logged on because I discovered that when breaking down the egg free vanilla ice cream on here hahahaha.
