Inspired by the lemon meringue pie post (@Amos_Schorr_168815 ), I made some pie too.

Banana cream pie.

Thin layer of chocolate, thin layer of caramel, vanilla bean pastry cream, bananas, whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

I've made dozens of banana cream pies, but I've never topped them with shaved chocolate. I'm quite mad at myself now.

Next time you make that, try it with a graham cracker crust. It's my favorite way of making banana cream pie.
