An open challenge

Hi friends.

So I submit an open challenge to you all.

It's called "Fridge raid". As we all know some nights you just look in the fridge/freezer and see what you have to make a meal. No shame in this.

So the challenge is this....make a meal from whats on-hand, and post it. The prizes are.....FUN.....challenge....and bragging rights that you made culinary magic with practical ingredients. Enjoy.

Avocado roulade, filled with bay shrimp and crab salad. @Todd_Shewman_38102 posted about this Daniel Humm technique. It's fun to do and everyone assumes it is difficult, it's not.

lol I got distracted. My pid controller was saying 67 degrees F and the rice cooker was pumping out steam (I had the probe hanging outside the cooker. hehe

rules please....can we raid the freezer for that one portion of leftovers that you froze but, can't remember why you bothered to save so little OR you forgot to write on the bag but, it must be something good or you wouldn't have saved it? It there a limit as to how much wine you can consume during the contest?

Had to try making the CS style Ratatouille.

In the spirit of the challenge, I only used what I had on hand: Roma tomatoes and zucchini (and the ingredients for the sauce). It's in the oven but here was what it looked like going in. I will follow up with a plated pic, so wish me luck as I am working on my plating.

Challenge - as usual, this is a form to believe in yourself, to do something that, under other cases, a personality would not agree to. But the treasured "weak" in this position works sensations. And even if it all began as a simple game, now the challenge is a new tool to influence people's hearts. By the way, now they’re shooting video challenges just for fun.
