Well, I have some crazy ideas I would like to share with you.
Honestly, I need some help here!! Please!!
I don´t know if this is possible, but I´m trying to create a Nutmeg Truffle!!
So the question is: Why?
Just because nutmeg it´s beautiful inside, as a real truffle!!
Well, not so beautiful, but it´s close
The final product could be sliced as a truffle, to use it for an Alfredo sauce, for example.
Little problems I found: Texture and flavor intensity.
I tried to soak the nutmeg in vinegar and other liquids for a week, to make it softer.
It worked...so far so good...
But the texture...blahh...looks like I´m eating a piece of wood!!
And the flavor still´s very intense. I believe because the essential oils are very strong.
So...Is that possible to make? Or am I dreaming too high?
