ISI Whipper
Haydn_209686
Hi - I have started use the isi whipper for all sorted of things, thanks for the inspiration. Can I use fizzy liquids like beer to champagne to infuse fruits? Like champagne and strawberries...

Siphons are better for extracting flavor from an ingredient and getting it into a solution as opposed to doing infusion (for which chamber vacuums are better). However, Dave Arnold
developed a technique
to do infusion in an ISI. I don't see why you couldn't apply that technique with beer or champagne. It's worth trying!

What Brandon said, however... If you want to infuse flavor and make it fizzy then go for it. (You may want to infuse in a vac first and then ISI the bubbles in). However, no need to use the fuzzy liquids because you will add CO2 to make it fizzy, pre-existing CO2 in beer won't add much to the end result.

Thanks guys - one other question. My safety guide says only 2 chargers for the 1lt device, some recipes call for 3, how safe is that?
