Any thoughts on developing a cool tool for converting strange measurement to weight. For example how much does 6 tablespoons of butter weigh in grams? It would be amazing to have a slick Chef Steps UI for this tool...

Do you mean a physical tool or a software program? If you're looking for a software, there are a bunch of websites out there that have extrapolation software. They can vary a little bit, but not excessively so, one to another.

I use it a lot to convert recipes to use weight as the measurement. There are times when the ingredients I'm looking for are not in the spreadsheet, so I need to add it. You can get the weights of number of ingredients here:

and add it yourself.
