I once made perfectly baked macaroons and just last week I tried baking again. When still in oven macaroons were perfect but when out tops were getting wrinkled. I dont know what have I done wrong. Please help.

every time i tried to make these macaroons i always fail what is the actual sugar used here icing sugar confectionery sugar powdered sugar and i use an ordinary domestic electric oven which has four rods burners tow on top and two on the bottom

They weren't full cooked. The egg whites were not fully set on the interior, so as they cooled they deflated pulling the tops down. I would turn my oven down a few degrees and bake a little longer to give the middles time to fully set. Hope this helps.

I baked those for 14 to 15 min. I'm just excited to take out the macaroons but get dismayed after. I will try to bake those longer next time. Thanks.
