Squeaky Cheese Curds New version

I was in the mood for some cheese curds and Beecher's are the best IMHO. If you don't have time to go to Pike Place Market they have an outlet at SeaTac.

Culturing the milk and cooking the curds. I also did add some Annatto for the yellow cheddar color.

Done with cheddaring just need to finish cutting and add the salt.

Yumm, squeaky cheese curds.

They have a Beecher's in NYC, and I pass it all the time. Now, I don't think I've ever actually had a cheese curd. Is it a must-try?

I love them, for me it's a comfort food. My grandparents had a dairy and made their own cheese and butter. They have their own texture and taste, basically it's unrippened cheddar. Curds melt very well too. You should stop in, they usually give free samples. You are correct, NYC and Seattle.
