I have been playing around fro the last month or so in the kitchen getting use to the new equipment. Some of the endeavours have been:
Pão de Queijo (Brazilian Cheese Bread)

Ranging from large size pictured, to very small. The large ones have a soft custard texture inside which is very addictive. Gluten free so your fad chasing friends can eat them.
Lemonade Scones
Lemonade, cream, SR flour, and salt. Still playing with ratios. but very simple to knock out.
Hard Dinner Rolls
Combi ovens make baking so easy with the ability to proof and bake with steam. Hearing the singing crust as they cool is wonderful.
50 Minute Ribs
Baby backs dusted with CS Smokerless Brisket Rub, 121°C/250°F for 45 minutes in the Combi then blasted at 250°C/482°F for 5 minutes. The justification needed for a combi oven in the house.
No cooking, but now my cook books have been released from storage, Volzhsky Napitok (A Drink From the Volga)
Pumpkin juice, beet juice, cranberry juice, sugar and ice tastes better than it sounds.
One of these books is not like the other ones.
Except for The Eames Lounge Chair, under the telly, all the books are cooking/food related, ~60 linear feet.
For those in need of a good read, The Gentleman's Companion set (1946) by Charles H Baker Jr, is both humorous and enlightening. Reprints of both the 1939 and 1946 editions are available on Amazon.
