Phosphoric acid %

Hello,

I was curious about using food grade phosphoric 10% at 8.5x the amount of 85% for the bitter orange juice recipe (or any for that matter). The local brew shop sells 10% for 3 bucks, while the 85% is at the cheapest $20 online. Is there any reason why this wouldn't work? The percents used for phosphoric acid are typically so small I wouldn't think the increase would affect the final products that much.

Your math is reasonable. My question would be what is the other 90%? If it's water that should work. It will water down your base but not much you would be adding 2.125 grams instead of .25 grams. I would do a test and put in half and taste and go from there.
