Cold brew recipes

I’ve gone and bought myself the ISI gourmet 1L whipping siphon and am ready to give the cold brew coffee recipe a go. I notice from the instructions manual for the siphon that the maximum number of chargers to be used is two, however your recipe calls for three. Would you still recommend to use three? Also, what can happen if I overcharge it?

I make cold brew in my 1/2 L ISI with two chargers. Three chargers in a 1L ISI is not a problem.

Three is fine but if you overcharge it, it's probably designed to safely blow up at whatever the weakest point is. Probably.

I wouldn't worry at all with that. ISI siphon are overbuilt for safety in all situation. The inside pressure is highly variable with the temperature the amount and type of liquid in the siphon. The gourmet whip is made for warm application and the pressure will get higher when you heat something. Worse come to worst the valve won't let you overfill and the bottom will pop out before anything dangerous happen.

tl;dr Do it!
