considering the trouble I had with my Anovas today that is a wise choice....in the middle of cooking steaks, chicken and salmon (VWR machine) the Anovas decided to quit (at different times) you cannot trust the timers on the old one or the new wi-fi one....

Isiah, welcome to the forum of passionate cooks...sometime all our passion isn't for cooking but we try to stay on point most of the time. We hope you post photos of your creations, but as many will tell you we demand photo evidence, or it didn't happen

Wow @HammeredChef_DEFINITELY_does_NOT_work_at_22134 my Anova died last week, it just quit circulating ..the heater and timer were still working. It was during a short cook on some fish, so I finished ok. They are replacing it with a brand new unit...still I don't trust it for any unsupervised cooks.

@John Fisher@Ellen I've been following you two all over these forums and have definitely helped with my research. Thank you. I haven't purchased my Joule yet. You think the price will go up once the date has been announced? Perhaps it's just best to go and preorder now since there isn't a better piece of equipment out there
