Alternative to mesophilic bacterial culture

Hi guys,

I'm currently down in Chile and not sure if I'll be able to find the mesophilic bacterial culture in my broken Spanish. Any ideas on what its called in Spanish or what could be an alternative to it?

It is called cultivo de bacterias mesófilas and according to another forum member, @Emilio (edeik@azurian.com) it is readily available in Chile. He is happy for you to contact him—he is in Santiago. I will DM his info.

Are you looking for a yoghurt or cheese starter?

That at least might make it easier starting wise, then I'd ask by latin name if I found a speciality store.
