How best to best put it into words? This dish is a marriage of simple ingredients yet with a complex and satisfying flavors. I guess we can call it “Simplexity”. I did my best to follow the recipe to a “T” but did not have access to Japanese eggplant so I used a regular eggplant and had to use my circle molds to adjust to the right diameter.
In the end, it was a great dish presented in a very elegant way. A show stopper for sure and if you have vegetarian or vegan friends, this will for sure warm up their hearts.
So 2 thumbs up to all the CS staff for a fantastic recipe.
