Took the SO to a birthday dinner at Minibar. They have 2 types of seating. Counter (12 people-can book 1-6) and "Jose's table" can book 2-6 (recently changed 2-4) and billed per person. This means if you book for two, they only accept 2 people. You only pay for 2 people and you get the table for semi-private dining (semi b/c you over look the other counter area). Wine/drink pairing etc included at the private table (you have more choices at the counter), but at the private table they will do whatever you want and the wine pairings were stellar! And not inexpensive (e.g. one bottle of Kistler chardonnay I know is ~$100 retail). Service was exceptional and personable. The presentations were quite pleasant and the flavors did not disappoint! Definitely some favorites the razor clams and the rabbit. They are fans of almonds and heavy flavors but did a wonderful job of lightening the dishes. We left talking about if we like it or alinea more. So, bottom line is I would recommend. Below is the list and pics
