Is it save to pickle boiled eggs and vegetables at room temperature, if the place where I live is around 31ºC and very humid?

Well I don't know about "todays Standards", but I grew up in rural North Carolina and the country store always had a huge glass jar full of pickled eggs on the counter near the cash drawer....WITH NO LID....I was 8 years old when I started eating them .....I have made it to 65....just saying...
