Github for Food

we have been playing around with the idea of crowdsourced recipe development and I think the ability to fork recipes on the site is a move in that direction. In the meantime, I found this site http://forkthecookbook.com/ that employs that same idea, a github for food if you will. I think this would be a cool thread to start sharing/forking recipes to develop unique dishes centered around this community of passionate folks.

That's a pretty neat site. We are really excited for folks to start using the forking ability on ChefSteps now too, available at the top of any recipe if you are signed in, and you can discuss the recipes either in the comments or here on the forum - whatever works for you! We'll be adding more features to make them even more collaborative over time.
