Joule hotel eggs rice peppers
tshewman
Warmed up some eggs, mole' and pesto in Joule and served it over rice (cooked in Joule) and microwaved peppers. I need to figure out a searing attachment for the iron for a Joule travel kit. :-)

Todd you can do what we did in college, cover the iron with a piece of heavy duty foil. It works great to toast a cheese sandwich, lol. Of course when I was in college that was all I used the iron for, Lol!

Awesome. How'd you do the rice? Color me intrigued. I bet you make some amazing slow cooked long grain. Mmmmmmmmmmmhm

Todd, I really liked you when I met you, and like the rest of us, this proves you are really not "quite right"...

Same as the quinoa etc. 90C for about 20min. Twice the bought chicken stock per unit rice (or quinoa). Risotto would likely require agitating the bag.

did they have electric irons while you were in college OR did you have to heat them in the fireplace?

Ok, it was a hot rock, but we called it an iron, lol.
