We had a double birthday party with friends and family for my son that turned 6 earlier this month and my daughter who turns 3 tomorrow. We had lots of fun with their pirate theme.
I made a pirate ship out of rice crispy treats covered in marshmallow fondant and decorated with gum paste, pretzels and melting chocolate.
I made a shark out of a watermelon.
We also had fun renaming foods and adding nautical aspects to them, such as shell shapes pasta to my macaroni salad.
