Hi! My name is Brad!

Mount Vernon, WA. About an hour north of Seattle.

I'm a beginner. And poor. But I like to DIY so I built my own sous vide temp controller and attach it to a bucket heater and drop in a water pump for circulation. I make certain my temp controller isn't spinning lies by checking it with a non-digital brewing thermometer.

In addition to the SV, I have an InstaPot electric pressure cooker that has made life very easy.

Welcome, Brad -- it sounds like you have a good set up. The combo of immersion circulator and pressure cooker has made a huge difference for me as well (my electric oven is a little cranky because she feels neglected).
