I'm a beginner. And poor. But I like to DIY so I built my own sous vide temp controller and attach it to a bucket heater and drop in a water pump for circulation. I make certain my temp controller isn't spinning lies by checking it with a non-digital brewing thermometer.
In addition to the SV, I have an InstaPot electric pressure cooker that has made life very easy.
