Start with microgreens

Hello, I would like to start with microgreens but I have some questions.

1. What should I need? I have the 1020 trays, soil and seeds. Anything else? Dome for the tray?

2. Light. I could place the trays outside my window (is that a good idea??) and then it would catch around 8-9 hours of sun. Avg temp is around 24 degree celcius atm. Or should I just grow them inside with some lights?

3. What kind of soil?

4. For how long will the microgreens be ok after they have been harvested ?

Dome isn't crucial but is a nicety. Outside is fine, but too much sun can burn'm up. Cover with garden mesh. Inside works well for many. Soil is here https://www.amazon.com/Black-Gold-1302040-16-Quart-Organic/dp/B004NSBN8S/ref=pd_sim_lg_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=0ZDW01AFKMZ2YYDVB27Z

I find that after harvest it depends on the type, mild an spicy mustard greens last 2-3 days, others are much more delicate and only last me a few hours.

When they are first starting out they like the dark, so I just invert one of my other trays over the top. I have been growing mine hydroponic for the most part. Growingmicrogreens.com is a good source for methods and a good seed source. They have some free instructional videos too under "How to".

Thanks guys. Availability in Holland is bad so I'm importing the seeds out of the states for some nice greens to use for myself.

Microgreens doesn't have a really high need for sunlight, isn't it?

And how many seeds per 1020 tray do you need? 4 ounces?

Because I need to import the seeds out of the States the cost become really high if I need to do this every month or two. Isn't there a way to replicate those seeds? Hahaha. I am so jealous because there is so much more available for (home) cooks in the US then in Europe. Then I talk about the modernist ingredients off course.
