Took a few hours, rented a car and drove up to cape cod and did a really quick visit/tour. Walked on Chatham lighthouse beach, watched them offload their fishboats and feed the sea lions and one big ass lobster while I share y lunch with the most polite seagull ever.
For dinner when I got back....Amaranth, quinoa, millet and buckwheat cooked in a shellfish (lobster shell and mussel) and mushroom broth. Served with fresh Maine lobster tail, a PEI and Chatham mussel, celery root/sunchoke puree, and ricotta gnochii with a touch of parsley and CR leaves. Had to put the little guy to sleep in the freezer before taking off his tail, was sort of stubborn. The blender at the condo sucks, and no sieve (only pasta collander)....but still pretty yummy.
