Yes, about 1/4 alcohol (jack Daniels or similar) of total brine liquid. In this case short ribs with and without liquid smoke and smoked salt.

Very doable. It's essentially using a "drunken chicken" approach.

Nothing like a good beer brine on some pork or chicken, or even french fries

Careful though, the flavour of alcohol itself can really stick and ruin meat. So spirits and the lot, I tend to stay away from them (or make a mixture of, say, wine and lots of port and burn off the alcohol first)

Yes, in my black past I did that. I was an alcoholic and I have used alcohol everywhere even when I was cooking making oil with wine or frying meat with beer. I had big problems cause in a day I did not drink water only alcohol. My suggestion is for people with alcohol problems to do not try alcoholic brine. It was good that I found
how to throw alcohol out from my life
cause in such way you do not have future. All you can hope about is that you will not die from intoxication.

Alcoholic brine? Are you serious? If you suddenly have problems with excessive alcohol consumption, then you need to go to rehab. I know that the most common question is:
how much does rehab cost
? I want to say that the price depends on the form and duration of stay in the clinic. My aunt spent 3 months in the clinic and now feels well. She received excellent medical care from the best specialists. She no longer has an alcohol addiction, and all because she was not afraid to go to rehab. I want to say that don't be afraid to change your life for the better.
