Reheating leftover steak?
Sam_439683
Hi guys, when reheating leftover steak, should I sous vide it at the same temp it was cooked at (140) or slightly less? And for how long? The slices are about a half inch each.
Thanks!

Watch Grant in the video Brian posted.
TL;DR a few degrees less than you cooked it, 30 minutes.

I first thought about using the SV to reheat when I had some beautiful very rare Italian roast beef left over. It was cooked to perfection and the thought of putting it in a pan or the oven and losing the lovely rare slices to overcooking was maddening. Then a light bulb went off in my head and that's when I decided to drop the slices into a bag and into the SV again. Simple, easy and the roast beef came out as it had the first time! Been doing that ever since.
