I've been trying to get the technique down. I initially tried to practice with whipped cream but the cream kind of collapsed and wouldn't 'roll
So I bought a tub of cheap ice cream to play with. I still have a little trouble with this.
In the first video you'll see that I have a little trouble with the transition point where you finish pushing the ice cream away and start pulling towards you, the ice cream at the base of the spoon doesn't seem to get caught in the spoon and thus the base doesn't look pointed. I also have trouble at the point where you pick the quenelle off, it seems to want to stick and leave a tail
